"What does a guy have to do to get them to stop auto drafting payments from my account for a policy cancelled a month ago?

They opted not to renew my homeowners policy which is fine, but when I obtained a new policy with another provider and cancelled my auto insurance with State Farm I can’t seem to get anyone to cancel the policy and stop billing me.

When I realized they were still billing me and pulling funds from my account I emailed their office and did not get a response, so followed up with a phone call and eventually received a return call assuring me it would be cancelled……well I now see they’ve again auto debited my account another $168 and my policy still appears active on the app.

I assume this is not intentional and likely more incompetence or lack of care, but it’s easy to offer good service to new customers when trying to earn their business, while a better indicator of overall long term experience is how they treat existing or even previous customers.

Would not recommend, and now back to the drawing board trying to get them to stop billing me for a policy cancelled in June."
